Choosing between साँचा:tlf and साँचा:tlf
साँचा:anchor Before 2014, editors needed to decide whether to use साँचा:tl or साँचा:tlf based on their features. In 2014, however, most of the differences between the two templates were eliminated.
As of साँचा:diff, साँचा:tlf and साँचा:tlf have the following differences:
- साँचा:tlf can be used for offline (paper) sources whereas साँचा:tlf generates a missing URL error when no URL is provided
- साँचा:tlf accepts साँचा:para and साँचा:para parameters while साँचा:tlf does not (See साँचा:section link.)
But given the same set of valid parameters, their output is exactly the same:
