Khajrana is a town located east of the city of Indore. Khajrana, located in the middle of Ring Road and Bypass Bypass, is a historical and tourist destination. Khajrana has three famous sites of religious importance. Khajrana Ganesh Temple, Naharshah Wali's Dargah and Kalika Mata Temple. The Khajrana Ganga-Jamna culture associated with the religious belief of both Hindu and Muslim is the stronghold of Tehzeeb where people of all religions and caste-fraternity have been living since the Paramara rule of Raja Bhoj. Khajrane's history is older than Indore. The dargah of Hazrat Naharshah Wali is about 350 years old. Nagendra Azad, the author of the book Indore Darshan, writes that Malharrao Holkar, the first Maharaja of Indore, had given the tashan faqir to Khajrana. The Mughal Emperor Shah Alam, also known as Ali Gauhar Badshah, gave 50 bighas of land to the Shah family of Khajrana in 1779 AD as a reward. After the death of Sufi saint Hazrat Naharshah Wali, a dargah was erected at his tomb where the Urs is celebrated on the 13th of the month of the Rabiul topper of Islam. Khajrana currently falls within the municipality boundary and has 3 wards with an estimated population of about 2.5 lakhs. Khajrana is also a pioneer in politics. Apart from BJP and Congress, independents are also councilors by running the field. Has won the election of Currently, two BJP councilors and an independent councilor are representing the people here. In Khajrana there is good publicity of trade and education with a spiritual and political atmosphere. The first councilor of Khajrana, from Gulab Patel to present-day Usman Patel and Rubina Iqbal Khan, is a councilor of Khajrana. Hazrat Naharshah visits the shrine of Wali daily to offer prayers.
