अल-हीरा (अरबी भाषा: الحيرة, अंग्रेज़ी: Al-Hira) मेसोपोटामिया में फ़ुरात नदी के किनारे स्थित एक प्राचीन शहर था। इसके खँडहर अब आधुनिक इराक़ के कूफ़ा शहर से ३ किमी दक्षिण में मिलते हैं। इसकी शुरुआत एक सैनिक छावनी के रूप में हुई थी लेकिन २६६ ईसवी में यह लख़मी राज्य की राजधानी बना।[१]
