वातायन या खिड़की दीवार या दरवाज़े में बने पारदर्शी छेद को कहते हैं। खिड़कियों पर अक्सर शीशा या कोई अन्य पारदर्शी चीज़ लगी होती है। कभी-कभी खिड़कियाँ खोली जा सकती हैं जिस से बाहर की वायु और आवाज़ें अन्दर प्रवेश कर सकती हैं।[१]
