झींगुर (cricket) एक कीट है। यह रात में झीं की आवाज निकालने के लिये जाना जाता है। जब नर झींगुर अपने परों को आपस में तेज़ी से रगड़ते हैं,तो 'झीं' की तेज आवाज निकलती है जिससे मादा झींगुर आकर्षित होती हैं।
