कास्टिंग काउच उस अनैतिक और गैर कानूनी आचार को कहते हैं जिसमें कोई उम्मीदवार या किसी जूनियर से किसी व्यवसाय में प्रवेश करने या किसी संगठन के भीतर कैरियर की उन्नति के लिए सेक्स की मांग की जाती है। शब्द कास्टिंग काउच चलचित्र फिल्म उद्योग में उत्पन्न हुआ। काउच का मतलब सोफा होता है। ये निर्देशक और निर्माताओं के कार्यालय में रखे सोफे की ओर इंगित करता है जहाँ महत्वाकांक्षी अभिनेताओं का साक्षात्कार होता है।
इस शब्द का उपयोग प्रायः मनोरंजन के अलावा अन्य उद्योगों में भी होने लगा है। ऐसा आचार शक्ति का दुरुपयोग हो सकता है और अगर उसे समाचार योग्य माना जाता है तो वह व्यापक सेक्स स्कैंडल बन सकता है।
