अविनाश काक (उर्फ अवि काक, जन्म : 1944) का जन्म श्रीनगर, कश्मीर में हुआ।
वह पर्ड्यू विश्वविद्यालय में विद्युत एवं संगणक अभियांत्रिकी के एक प्रोफेसर हैं, जिन्होंने सूचना संसाधन के कई अलग अलग पहलुओं पर अग्रणी अनुसंधान किया है।[१]
उन्होंने संगणन शास्त्र पर भी कई ग्रन्थ लिखे हैं।[२][३]
